On a very hot 27th June at Gloucester Ski Centre, some of the country’s best racers gathered to compete for their regions in the Snowsport England Inter-Regional Dual Slalom Championship.

Sixteen racers from across the south-west travelled north to the Chill FactorE

The South West Snowsports Association was strongly represented with 26 racers from across the region competing. From new racers through to those with years of race experience

South West Regional Squad announced after a day of training and a series of head to head races.

With round 2 of the 2010 Snowsport England Grand Prix Series sponsored by Aosta Valley arriving on a clear but blustery late spring, the views – albeit stunning – had to play second fiddle to the thrills, spills and skills on show on Pendle’s famous rolling green dendix carpet.
